POSITION OF AN ACCOUNT ASSISTANT AT THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA
The Mission is seeking a qualified Account Assistant as per the information below
Position Responsibilities:
- Assistant to the Financial Attaché
- Preparation of Payment and Receipt vouchers
- Maintain of the stocks ledger and stores
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
- Update and maintain vote book (Expenditure control)
- Preparation of monthly expenditure analysis
- Banking and preparation of Cheques
- Procurement
- Translation of Bills, Quotations and other related documents
- Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:-
- Advance Degree in Financial Accounting/Commerce or equivalent
- Nissho Boki (Book Keeping)
- Knowledge of Japanese banking system
- 3 Years experience in relevant field of Accounting or banking
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (proactive work approach, offer ideas and solutions to problem solving situations)
- Computer Literate
- Competence in Japan E-procurement.
