SHISHIDO HILLS GOLF CLUB HOSTS ANOTHER DIPLOMATIC EVENT

Once again, Shishido Hills Golf Club, in partnership with BMW Japan, hosted the annual Ambassadors Friendship Golf on Sunday, 2nd December 2012. Despite the extreme cold weather, at one time minus 5 degrees (-5ºC), the function was well attended. The Ambassador was among the Heads of Diplomatic Missions and other business executives who participated in the event.

This unique annual event brings together golf enthusiasts and non-golfers alike from the Diplomatic Missions in recognition of their role in forging closer bilateral relations between Japan and the international community.

Non-golf players had a choice between taking golf lessons from Shishido Hills professional golf trainer or a photo workshop by the professional photographer Mr. Edward Levinson. Partiicpants in the latter event also visited one of the three best waterfalls in Japan, the Fukuroda Falls. At a subsequent evening party, awards were given to winners of the golf and the various activities organized for the day.
