LAUNCHING OF NEW WEBSITE
The Embassy of the Republic
of Kenya has the pleasure to announce the launch of its new and improved
website on 1st April 2008. The new site will now provide more comprehensive
information on Kenya than ever before, covering Kenya's people, history,
culture, geography, politics, economy, trade, investment opportunities
and much more.
The following 5 key information areas have been
improved on our new website.
- The number of pages
The number of pages has been increased from 53 to 152 in both English
and Japanese.
- Trade & Investment
You will now find up to date information on Trade and Investment
covering all major key sectors of the Kenyan economy, including
its world class Tourism, Cut
Flower, Tea and Coffee Industries.
There will also a lot of new information on investment in Kenya
that several interested companies, organizations and individuals
have been looking for.
- Navigation
The Navigation system has been improved considerably and made user
friendly to enable information interfacing at the first click
with a direct link between the bilingual sites.
- Movie
The top page features a 13
minute movie on Kenya's unrivalled tourism
with the same appearing again in the Japanese pages with a Japanese
narration. Various other informative movies will gradually be
added to the new website to offer greater insight into Kenya's
abundant tourism sector.
- Download of Various Forms
Various application forms will be easily downloaded
from the
"VISA & Consular" section which will save many of
our clients the time it now takes for them to come and collect
them from the Embassy.
