On Wednesday 26th January, H.E. Amb. Tabu IRINA paid a courtesy call on Hon. Takako SUZUKI, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the status of the bilateral relations between Kenya and Japan as well as Hon. Suzuki’s intended official visit to Kenya.
H.E. the Ambassador conveyed appreciation, through the State Minister, to the Government of Japan for their donation of AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured in Japan through the COVAX facility. She informed that this generous support confirms the excellent relationship between the two countries and that the vaccine will go a long way in bolstering the Government of Kenya’s effort to provide vaccines to its citizen.
