OFFICIAL VISIT TO JAPAN BY H.E. THE GOVERNOR OF MOMBASA COUNTY GOVERNMENT

H.E. Mr. Hassan Ali Joho, Governor – Mombasa County Government, is currently in Japan, at the invitation of Mitsui & Co. Ltd, for a two week long (27th January – 7th February, 2014) training on Urban Transit System Construction Project/ Above Ground Trains System (AGT). The training is sponsored by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Japan Consultant Institute (JCI). The Governor is accompanied by Hon. Badi Talib Badi, Member of Parliament for Jomvu Constituency and eleven Officials from Mombasa County Government, Kenya Port Authority, Kenya Railways Corporation, and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

During the training, the delegation is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI); Ministry of Lands, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT); Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
