EMBASSY PARTICIPATES IN THE 12TH INTERNATIONAL FLOWER EXPO TOKYO (IFEX) TOKYO, 14TH -16TH OCTOBER, 2015

H.E. Amb. S.K. Maina joins other dignitaries in the commemorative Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, at the Opening of the IFEX Expo in Tokyo on 14th October, 2015

The Embassy participated in the 12th International Flower Expo Tokyo (IFEX ) 2015 that was held from 14th to 16th October, 2015 at the Makuhari Messe, Tokyo. With the collaboration of Japanese importers of Kenyan flowers and the Kenya Flower Council and its growers, the Embassy was able to showcase a variety of its fresh cut flowers especially roses to more than 1000 participants who attended the show. The Embassy was also able to engage with more than 50 companies that visited its stand to seek business partnerships for Kenyan roses which are best known for their long shelf life and radiance.

IFEX is notably Asia's leading flower industry tradeshow which has established itself as the most important vehicle in the industry, attracting exhibitors from all over the world. This year's event attracted over 40,000 participants exhibiting not only flowers but also a wide range of horticultural products and related implements from all over the World.
