KENYA EMBASSY PARTICIPATES IN 9TH AFRICAN FESTIVAL YOKOHAMA

Kenya Embassy participated in the 9th African Festival Yokohama held from 1st to 3rd April 2016. The festival is held annually with an aim to bridge the cultural difference and forge mutual friendship between Africa and Japan. It is a cultural expo that provides a forum for people to learn and explore the many trade and investment opportunities found in Africa.

African Embassies and Exhibitors showcase their products during the festival. Other attractions include Traditional Cultural Drumming and Dancing, African Photo Exhibition, Lecture, African Games Corner, African Fashion Show, Dance & Traditional Musical Instrument Workshop, African Quiz, African Countries National Days, Concert African Cuisine & Drink, African Art and craft.

The Embassy facilitated performance by the St. Andrew's School, Turi Musical Team at the festival on 1st April, 2016.
