On Wednesday, 3rd July 2019, H.E. Amb. S. K. Maina, had an interview with Ms. Reiko Kanda, Executive Vice President & Senior Director, and Ms. Mari Kawamoto, Research Coordinator & Researcher of Nippon Institute for Research Advancement (NIRA), a Japanese think tank which conducts research on socio-economic issues, for its publication “My Vision”.
During the interview, Amb. Maina talked at length on the importance of the use of ICT in the economic development of a country giving examples of Kenya’s advancement in ICT. He also expounded on the changes and type of development the use of ICT brings to African societies. He further pointed out what is essential for the future development of Africa and what Japan and the rest of the world can do to assist.
