H.E. Amb. Tabu Irina and members of staff of the Kenya Embassy Tokyo welcoming the first batch of Team Kenya to Kurume City, Japan
On 12th July 2021, H.E. Amb. Tabu Irina held a virtual meet and greet with team members of Malkia Strikers and accompanying officials led by Deputy Chef de Mission Mr. Shoaib Vayani.
The team arrived in Kurume City on 10th and 11th July 2021 for pre-games training for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympics. H.E. the Ambassador welcomed them and conveyed on behalf of the Embassy and Kenyans in Japan best wishes and good luck in their preparations towards the Tokyo 2020 Games.
The full contingent of Team Kenya consisting of Rugby Sevens Shujaa and Lionesses and athletes in other disciplines is on course to arrive in Kurume City by 15th July 2021.
