EMBASSY CO-HOSTS JOINT TRAVEL SEMINAR WITH THE TRAVELERS GUARDIAN AT THE EMBASSY

Amb. Moi Lemoshira delivers a presentation on introduction of tourism in Kenya

Amb. Moi Lemoshira, Ambassador-designate hosted a travel seminar in cooperation with Mr. Yusuke Kikuchi, Managing Director of the Travelers Guardian Inc. at the Kenya Embassy Chancery on Saturday, 26th October 2024. The participants of the seminar were Japanese travel enthusiasts, some of whom are repeat visitors to Kenya as well as those keen to visit Kenya for the first time.

Amb. Lemoshira delivered an introductory presentation about Kenya highlighting the Kenya’s tourist attractions, the Kenyan people, the Kenyan culture and the new sustainable tourism experiences that benefit local Kenyan communities. The Ambassador-designate encouraged the participants to visit Kenya to experience the Magic of Kenya.

In the second session of the seminar, Mr. Naokuni Kato, a certified professional safari guide in Kenya made a presentation of the Fauna and Flora found in Samburu National Reserve, Hells Gate National Park and Kakamega Forest National Reserves. Mr. Kato is a seasoned visitor to Kenya and has a well-documented portfolio of his numerous visits to Kenya.

Amb. Arthur Andambi, Deputy Head of Mission, Ms. Nina Alai, Minister Counsellor and Ms. Kanako Sugai, Tourism Assistant from the Embassy participated in the event.
