AMB. MOI LEMOSHIRA HELD CONSULTATIONS WITH H.E. AMB. HORIUCHI TOSHIHIKO, ASSISTANT MINISTER AND DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR AFRICAN AFFAIRS OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF JAPAN

Ambassador Moi Lemoshira with H.E. Amb. HORIUCHI Toshihiko, Assistant Minister and Director General for African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

Ambassador Moi Lemoshira yesterday Monday March 31, 2025, held consultations with H.E. Amb. HORIUCHI Toshihiko, Assistant Minister and Director General for African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The meeting follows the Inaugural Political Dialogue between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries of January 20, 2025 held in Nairobi.


During the consultations, Amb. Lemoshira and Amb. Horiuchi assessed the status of bilateral relations and partnerships on regional and global affairs. The two reaffirmed strong commitment of the two countries to stronger ties including enhancing economic partnership.


Amb.HORIUCHI confirmed Japan's readiness to host the next Political Dialogue at a date to be mutually agreed. The Dialogue aims to ensure timely implementation of commitments made and fasttrack bilateral cooperation.
