The Republic of Kenya is showcasing its innovation, culture and commitment to sustainability at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. (Location: Commons A, near East Gate).

In celebration of this occasion, the Government of Kenya through the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency has organized a fun run event, “Run with Kenyan Champions”, to be held on Sunday, 22 June 2025 for all friends of Kenya and Japan. The event will take place outside the Expo site at Yodogawa Riverside Park (Nishi-Nakajima area), within walking distance of Nishi-Nakajima Minamikata Station, which is also easily accessible from Shin-Osaka Station.

The fun run will comprise three races covering 10 kms, 5 Kms, and 3 kms respectively and will be attended by the World and Olympic Champions and sports legends from Kenya. The overall objective of the run is to create visibility of Kenya as an undisputed champion in marathons and promote sports culture, a healthy and fitness lifestyle, and foster international friendships and networking between Kenya and Japan.
