Ambassador Moi Lemoshira visited the University of Tokyo, where he held discussions with Dr. Kazushige Touhara, Dean of the Graduate School of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The discussion focused on enhancing collaboration in research in agricultural and life sciences to support livestock production through improved genetics, food security, response to climate change for sustainable development and realization of advanced phytosanitary standards. Both sides underscored the importance of building stronger linkages between specialized research institutions as part of the Kenya and Japan partnership.

The meeting reflects the shared vision of promoting innovation, research, and knowledge exchange for mutual growth between the two countries.

Present at the meeting was Dr. Iwata Hiroyoshi, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Ms. Jennifer Njuguna, First Counsellor and Mr. David Yaa, Second Secretary.
