VISIT BY STUDENTS FROM MATSUE DAINI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, TOKYO

Ambassador Lemoshira interacts with students

The Embassy welcomed a group of 10 students from Matsue Daini Junior High School in Tokyo at the Embassy on Friday, 6th February 2026.

Ambassador Moi Lemoshira received the students and guided them through the chancery, providing an overview of the role and work of the Embassy in Japan. The students then engaged in an interactive discussion with the Ambassador on wildlife conservation and sustainable energy initiatives in Kenya. The Ambassador also conveyed a message of encouragement for the student’s future studies aspirations.

Ms. Jennifer Njuguna, First Counsellor delivered a presentation on Kenya, highlighting its culture, sports, and tourism, and responded to questions from the students.

The students also presented a research on Kenya. Their presentation reflected a strong interest in the country.

The Embassy continues to welcome visits from schools throughout the year upon request, as part of its efforts to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between Kenya and Japan.
