Terumo Medical Pranex is a world-leading medical technologies company based in Japan. The company is hosting capacity building for African doctors in Advanced Cardiac Catheterization in the treatment of cardiovascular illness. 5 doctors from Kenya arrived in Japan on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026 and started the interventional cardiologist training at Terumo in Hatanodai city in Shinagawa, Tokyo.

Ambassador Moi Lemoshira, accompanied by Mr. Teddy Yaa, First Secretary, visited Terumo Training Centre and interacted with and the Kenyan doctors. The Embassy team held discussions with the Terumo officials on the potential of strengthening and expanding the capacity building program.
