On Monday, 28^th September 2026, the Embassy, led by Ambassador Moi Lemoshira, held a discussions with Mr. Tomonori Mori, the President of Hyakugo Bank Ltd., on strengthening business and investment linkages between Kenya and Japan’s Tokai Region.

The discussions explored opportunities to connect Kenyan startups and Japanese companies, particularly in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, as well as potential business-matching initiatives, university linkages and trade opportunities, with a proposed “Tokai Tour” for the Embassy to engage companies and institutions in the region.

The Embassy looks forward to working with Hyakugo Bank to further promote trade, investment and business partnerships between Kenya and Japan.
