MEETING WITH FD CORPORATION

Amb. Moi Lemoshira receiving a gift from Mr. Masashi Suzuki, CEO of FD Corporation

On 29th September 2026, Amb. Moi Lemoshira hosted representatives from FD Corporation, led by the CEO, Mr. Masashi Suzuki and discussed the potential collaboration in Kenya’s renewable energy and power sector.

The meeting focused on solar power, battery storage and stable power solutions, with potential applications in schools, hospitals, housing, agriculture and other facilities facing power reliability challenges in Kenya.

FD Corporation also expressed interest in exploring local assembly of batteries and inverters, skills development and TVET capacity building, and proposed a visit to Kenya to engage relevant Government institutions and private-sector stakeholders.

The Embassy looks forward to supporting further engagement towards sustainable energy solutions, investment and technology cooperation between Kenya and Japan.
