Amb. Moi Lemoshira delivers welcome speech at the travel seminar

On 10th April 2025, the Embassy in collaboration with Hankyu Travel International Co., Ltd. hosted over 20 participants who will be visiting Kenya and those who are considering traveling to Kenya. The objective of the travel seminar was for the guests to receive varied information on Kenya.

H.E. Amb. Moi Lemoshira welcomed participants to the Embassy and expressed his appreciation for their interests in traveling to Kenya and highlighted the significant role of the tourism sector in Kenya, emphasizing that visits by tourists support the economy of the local people in Kenya.

The Ambassador also commended Japan’s contribution to tourist arrivals with Japan being currently listed as 15th on the list of most recovered tourism market post-covid.

The participants were also provided with detailed itineraries, hotel information and travel destinations by the travel agents. After the seminar, the participants had an interactive session as they enjoyed light Kenyan snacks and a cup of Kenyan tea. The participants will visit Kenya in August and September, 2025 targeting the time of the wildebeest migration crossing at the Mara River.
