Ambassador Moi Lemoshira attended the graduation ceremony of the 189th International Senior Seminar of the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute (UNAFEI). The training on Prevention of Crime and Treatment of Offenders which is supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) seeks to share best practices to improve justice system as part of boosting global governance.

Mr Jared Nyachae, Senior Probation Officer, State Department for Correctional Services of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration was one of the 10 participants.

The Kenyan envoy was received at UNAFEI Headquarters by the Director Ambassador YAMAUCHI Yoshimatsu and Mr. KONYA Kenichi, Director General of JICA. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the support that Japan continues to extend to Kenya in training and capacity building in niche areas of national development.
