DIASPORA INTEGRATED INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DIIMS)

The State Department for Diaspora Affairs has onboarded core services on the eCitizen Platform and integrated the same with the Diaspora Integrated Information Management System (DIIMS) portal. This is in line with Government's priority to digitize service delivery to improve efficiency, accessibility and transparency as envisioned in the Digital Master Plan 2022-2032.

These services include: -
・Registration of Kenyans in diaspora
・Registration of Diaspora associations
・Diaspora in conflict with the law
・Requests by distressed persons
・Reporting of missing persons
・Counselling services
・Reporting death
・Crisis mapping
・Remittances

The State Department will run sensitization webinars on DIIMS for Missions and Diaspora Associations between last week of February and Mid-March, 2026. Communication on this and relevant links will be shared in due course.
