The Embassy was represented at the Asia Africa Arab 55’s Round Table Dinner held on 27th July 2026 by Mr. David Yaa, Second Secretary, who attended on behalf of H.E. Ambassador Moi Lemoshira.
The dinner was hosted by Mrs. Akie Abe, Chairperson of the Organization and the widow of the late Prime Minister of Japan, H.E. Shinzo Abe. The event brought together diplomats, business leaders, and distinguished guests from Asia, Africa, and the Arab region to strengthen friendship, mutual understanding, and cooperation among the participating countries.
During the event, Mr. Yaa conveyed the Embassy's appreciation for the invitation and reaffirmed Kenya's commitment to deepening its longstanding relations with Japan and expanding partnerships with countries across Asia, Africa, and the Arab world. He emphasized the importance of dialogue, cultural exchange, trade, investment, and sustainable development as key pillars for fostering stronger international cooperation.
The Round Table Dinner provided an excellent platform for networking and exchanging ideas on enhancing collaboration across the three regions while promoting peace, prosperity, and shared economic growth.
The Embassy remains committed to engaging with partners and stakeholders in Japan through such initiatives, which contribute to advancing Kenya's diplomatic, economic, and cultural interests.
