RECENT NEWS & EVENTS

Brig. Loonena Naisho, Director-General of the Kenya Coast Guard Service, who has been attending the 2nd Coast Guard Global Summit called on H.E. Mr. S. K. Maina, MBS on 21st November 2019 in the Chancery. They exchanged views on enhancing the capacity of the Service among other issues.

During the visit, the Director-General had the opportunity of meeting with Amb. Mikio Mori, Director-General of African Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which they explored ways of enhancing the Coast Guard Services. He also met with Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of The Nippon Foundation who are importantly involved in Blue Economy Sector.
