H.E. Mr. S.K. Maina, MBS hosted the 56th Anniversary Celebration of Kenya’s Independence on 12th Dec. 2019 at the CONRAD TOKYO. Members of Staff and Kenyans in Japan welcomed the over 500 invited guests. The Guest of Honour was Hon. Keisuke Suzuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs. The Toast to the Celebration was delivered by Mr. Jun Karube, Chairman of Toyota Tsusho and the Honorary Consul for Kenya in Nagoya. The occasion was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps and leaders of Industries such as Mr. Kyoji Takezawa, President of Toyo Construction, Mr. Ichiro SAKAI, President of Sakai Heavy Industries, Mr. Kazuhiro TANIMURA, President of Hankyu Hanshin Express among others.
